Construction begins in our Tuscan atelier, where artisans cut our soft suede into precise diamond shapes before hand-crocheting them together with a tapestry cord. The patchwork technique demands meticulous handwork; because suede is inherently delicate, each crochet stitch must be carefully tensioned to maintain structure without stressing the material. The patchwork panels alone require 36 hours of work by a skilled artisan.
