Dinner With Friends at the River Café 2022

“Every year, I host an intimate dinner at my favorite London restaurant, The River Café.  It’s a chance for me to bring some of my closest friends and collaborators together to thank them for their love and support throughout the year.  I always host this dinner on the Friday before Christmas so that everyone can truly relax and have some fun. I also have so much fun to plan every detail, from the decor to the wine to the personalised gifts.”

"I wanted to create something that united The River Café’s bold colours, with Métier’s timeless palette and of course, the holiday season."

The Flowers

"I asked my friend, Hikari Yokoyama of Naum Flower, to help me bring my concept to life.  She created beautiful bud vases filled with Spruce, Hazel Catkins, Rosa Banksiae and Rose Hips.  I love to collaborate with friends who inspire me and are masters of their own crafts, it's one of my favorite parts of concepting an event."

The Gifts

"This year, I wanted to create something extra special.  I made this collapsible basket that can be used to carry wine - or anything!  I sourced wine from Shrine to the Vine which is the wine shop owned by Noble Rot, one of my other favorite spots in London.  I also gave each person a leather envelope with a handwritten note inside."
