Métier Holiday Dinner at The River Café

We gathered friends for our annual holiday dinner at The River Café – our favourite night of the year. Champagne flowed, the Chocolate Nemesis Cake delighted, and we celebrated into the wee hours.

Guests sipped champagne and snacked on artichoke fritti during cocktail hour. 

Dinner was a culinary treat for all, beginning with a fresh pasta course – a choice of Tagliatelle al Ragu or Rigatoni al Cavalo Nero – followed by a light Branzino al Forno with lemon. A delicious dessert spread included almond tarts, ice cream and the restaurant’s infamous Chocolate Nemesis Cake. 

Celestial-inspired ornaments from our  holiday gift packaging decorated the restaurant’s Christmas tree.

Each dinner place setting included our 2026 Diary, a fold-out holiday greeting, and a custom Métier snow globe to commemorate the occasion.
