What do you do and why is it your passion?
As a landscape designer, I believe we belong in nature. I’m passionate about blending nature and the human experience.
What is the process for creating your work?
I create an interactive narrative that develops over time.
How do you get inspired?
I’m inspired by finding the beauty in life, which creates a sense of freedom in my work.
How did you get started in your career? What has been your journey to finding your own place and stamp on your industry?
After starting a landscaping company in middle school with my brother, landscape architects began to hire us to manage their installations. I moved to New York City to work for a few other designers but then realized I had a strong vision for the gardens I wanted to build. I’ve since developed a signature laidback bohemian aesthetic.
How often are you travelling? What routine or tricks have you created for being on the road so often?
I travel once a month for work. I generally pick two outfits and add essential basics for each day. It’s always last minute.
What is your favorite thing about travelling?
Traveling is like a reset button. It helps you gain perspective.
What does luxury mean to you?
Luxury is comfort with well crafted taste.
What are the things we will always find inside your bag (the non-obvious please!)
Hmmm. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to talk about that. A pen and paper is a must.
