Inspired by this season’s palette (which is inspired by the bright and punchy tones of Oaxaca) we enlisted the help of good friend of the Brand, Silka Rittson Thomas, just off her involvement in the Nicolas Party pool mosaic at Le Sirenuse, to design the tablescapes. All of the textiles for the table cloths were dyed amid the charming surroundings of the Cotswolds using natural agents to capture the vibrancy of the southern Mexican city.
Located just a stones throw from Métier HQ on South Audley, Farm Shop, of Audley Pub and Fife Arms fame, served as the ideal venue to host. Delicious purveyors of everything natural and fresh; fruits, veggies, bread, cheese, meats, and wine, we felt their ethos meshed well with the brightened mood of our latest collection.
The first event to be held at Farm Shop, guests nibbled on a selection of seasonal favourites like farm-to-table smoked trout and quail eggs on toast, freshly baked pastries, as well as yoghurt with sour cherries and almond granola.
